Rapid Hosting Guide: How to Sync Your Database with Your Server

In this guide, Rapid Hosting will walk you through the process of syncing your database with your server using either Oxmysql or Mysql-async.

Using Oxmysql:

  1. Edit the Template:
  • For Oxmysql, you can utilize either of the following templates:
set mysql_connection_string "mysql://root:12345@localhost:3306/es_extended?charset=utf8mb4"

OR

set mysql_connection_string "user=root;password=12345;host=localhost;port=3306;database=es_extended;charset=utf8mb4"
  • Adjust the template to match your MySQL database credentials.

Using Mysql-async:

  1. Automatic Insertion:
  • For Mysql-async, the process is more straightforward.
  • Go to the "Databases" section where your database is created.
  • Click the book icon (usually labeled "Insert connection string") next to your database entry.
  • This will automatically insert the connection string for you.

Both Methods:

  1. Database Sync:
  • Once you've configured the connection string, your database will automatically sync with your server.

Congratulations! Your database is now synced with your server using either Oxmysql or Mysql-async.
